How to restart the lane 7000 or lane 5000 credit card machine.

1. Hold down the Yellow key and the .,#* key. 

2.  The Device will restart

3. Give it a few moments to boot back up.  It should then display the freedom pay logo when it is ready.

4. Once you see the freedom pay logo on the screen. It can be used again. 

The device should be restarted whenever there is an error message that is coming from FreedomPay that is preventing the transaction from going through. Or when it says, “Transaction in progress” and it prevents the user from doing another transaction.
